Sunny Skies

Blouse- ASOS
Jeans - Topshop Joni
Shoes- Topshop
Bag - Accessorize
Watch - Michael Kors
Ring - The Bohemian Collective

Hi everyone, wow how nice has the weather been today! I've enjoyed the bank holiday by going to Regents Park for a picnic with my boyfriend and relaxing in the sunshine.

This is actually an outfit I wore a couple of weekends ago when we were going to breakfast. The ASOS shirt is a new favourite and I love the detail on the front. The shoes were a present for my birthday and they're so comfy! I decided to wear my trusty Joni jeans as usual, I've not wanted to wear anything else recently and finish the outfit with my usual Accessorize bag which has become a firm favourite. So much so that i'm actually considering getting it in another colour!

Africa

Jacket - Topshop Boutique
Shirt - ASOS
Jeans - Topshop Joni
Shoes - Topshop

Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying your weekends! A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to take a trip down to Somerset House to see an exhibition, unfortunately we were too late and didn't get to see it (though luckily we arrived on time this weekend!) Mind you it wasn't all bad as we decided to take a trip round Regent's Park in the sunshine finished off with a stop to Meat Market (so bad yet so good, I definitely recommend the milkshakes, delicious!)

These were taken outside the glorious Somerset House but with a camera battery dying, these photos, which i'm not overly happy about, had to do. I look so moody!

I decided to wear my new ASOS Africa blouse which is currently in the sale. I love the bright, bold print and clashing colours which I thought would be a good transitional piece in my wardrobe! Seeing as it was getting a bit colder I also threw on my trusty leather jacket and Joni Jeans. I really do like the new version of the Joni jeans as I was able to get my proper size in them unlike the older ones which I couldn't get over my foot (silly Topshop!) I'm definitely going to exchange my older pair as the seems are showing through white and it puts me off wearing them!

I also wore these cute little sandals that I picked up from Topshop with a birthday voucher from my lovely family. Perfect for the summer with jeans or skirts, you'll definitely see me wearing these a lot!

Finally the bag! I saw this a few weeks ago in Accessorize and reluctantly walked away but after seeing Tami with it at the AX Paris event in a different colour I knew I had to buy it. It's so perfect, a great size and unlike some of the Zara bags, has a zipped lining to store everything away. I hate travelling on the tube with an open bag so this definitely ticks all the boxes.

I also haven't stopped wearing my above the knuckle ring that I got in my goodie bag from the AX Paris event, how amazing is it! Definitely think i'm going to have to buy a few more to add to my collection.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend whatever you're doing! I'll be doing some lesson planning tomorrow but I can't really complain as i'm very happy in my new job!

Paisley Print

Coat - Topshop (old)

It seems like i'm back to being a good blogger, two posts in one week, congratulations to me! This week has been a busy one and I actually attended my first event on Wednesday (Ax Paris) which I have to say was really fun, I definitely enjoyed drinking dreamy cocktails and watching the exciting performances. Thanks to Megs, Tami and Lauren for being so lovely and letting me spend my night with them as well as Kim for inviting me!

I actually wore this outfit on Tuesday when I went to meet my friend Louise for peanut butter milkshakes, pancakes (yum!) and a bit of shopping in London. Unlike today, the weather wasn't so great so I put on an outfit which I knew would keep me warm. The blouse is one of my new favourites, spotted in Urban Outfitters and kindly bought for my by my fiancé. I love the contrast between the plain white collar and the intricate paisley pattern, it's a great addition to my wardrobe!
I paired it with my American apparel easy jeans and new Topshop Alert heeled Chelsea boots. I'd be after a pair of boots like this for ages but never quite got round to buying any so when I saw these I quickly snapped them up. My only one criticism is that they're huge round my ankles but its something I don't mind too much.

I've also been attached to my Zara Office City Bag which I bought a while ago, so practical for work and my days off where I enjoy carrying far to many unessential things around! It also looks a lot more expensive than it actually is and I have to say I love it!

Finally, how beautiful is my new ring from Me and Zena. I was kindly asked by the lovely Emily if I wanted to review a piece of jewellery on my blog and it took me ages trying to pick just one thing (they have so many amazing pieces) but I finally settled on the Classy cracker ring in Garnet. It's just gorgeous, I love the sapphire one too and if you haven't already checked their website out you really should!

Monochrome

Jacket - Zara
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - Office
Bag - Zara
Watch - Michael Kors

Wow, so I can't believe it's been 4 months since I last posted on here. Things have been so busy recently and as some of you will already know i've changed jobs and am now working as a supply teacher. This wasn't an easy choice to make but I can say that i'm so much happier now than I have been unfortunately for the past 6 months. I guess sometimes life doesn't quite pan out the way you'd always like it to but with the support of my loving family i've been able to stay positive! Anyway enough of the job talk.

Last week my fiance and I went home for a week to catch up with family and friends. We really were spoilt with lots of meals out and a stay in the beautiful Carden Park near Chester. These photos were actually taken outside in the grounds before we left!

I bought this dress a while ago with some vouchers left over from Christmas and absolutely love it, the collar, the length and of course the fact that it's monochrome (like with the rest of my wardrobe!) I decided to throw on my new zara jacket over the top as the weather still wasn't that great and it was definitely too cold to brave bare arms! I love the detailing and they also have this in white which is lovely and would be perfect for the spring (if it ever comes!) The shoes were purely practical as we were there with my little nephew who is 2 and is very active. I didn't fancy running around in wedges the whole day either!

Today is also my birthday and i've had a lovely day so far. Yesterday we went to Patty and Bun for a delicious burger (have a look at Hannah's blog for a great review if you haven't already, you'll be sure to want to go after reading it) for cocktails and to the cinema. As well as going for a lovely brunch this morning i've been treated to some amazing presents from my fiance. If you fancy being nosey, there's some pictures on my instagram! (my username is iamlilybee)

Anyway, well done if you've managed to read all of my waffle.
I hope to be posting sooner next time!
