Pink, Crochet and Nude

 Coat - Zara
Top - Monki
Jeans - Topshop Jamie
Shoes - Topshop
Watch - Michael Kors

Here's my first outfit post since we moved about a month ago to our new flat in North London. Sorry it's taken me so long but you know how it is with moving (I discovered that I have far too many clothes and don't enjoy heavy lifting!) We're now becoming more settled in our beautiful newly renovated place and finally have a garden after two years being sandwiched on the third floor of an apartment block, bliss!

I finish work for the summer holidays this Tuesday and I'm so excited because it means I can finally sort out my make up and hair storage and get out in the garden to enjoy the beautiful sunshine we've been having (albeit not so beautiful when you're trying to teach kids in 31 degree heat)

Anyway, firstly, yes I am wearing colour! Who knew salmon pink could be so good? And secondly, how gorgeous is my new bag from Paul's Boutique?! The brand has definitely come a long way since the early days when I distinctly remember their garish designs that you couldn't miss in Topshop! I'm literally obsessed with this Maisy bag and have been wearing it pretty much every day. I love the two-tone nude and black which looks so classic. I was also lucky enough to receive the matching purse, which again is just beautiful! Bravo Paul's Boutique for seriously upping your game!

A Trip To Syon

Jacket -New Look (old)
Cropped jumper - Monki
Jeans - Topshop Joni
Cami - Topshop
Shoes - River Island
Watch - Michael Kors

Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend break, I know I have! This week has flown by what with a brief trip back home to Liverpool where we saw family and were treated to some lovely days out and then coming back to London to stay in one of the most beautiful hotels.

I've included a few more photos of our stay at the amazing Hilton Hotel at Syon park not far away from Richmond. My boyfriend and I decided on a quick break to draw a close to the Easter break and I'm so glad he treated me to it! We went on bike rides, explored the grounds and went to the spa as well as dining on some of the best food (sticky toffee pudding, I'm still thinking of you!). Although it's in London it feels like you're more out in the countryside with the stunning gardens and picturesque views. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a little break from hectic city life like we were and I know we're sure to be returning in the near future. So thanks Hitlon for making our weekend so enjoyable!

Not much to say about this outfit, nice and comfy for walking and my trusty jacket kept me warm in the cooler evenings. I bought this bag when I went home from Urban Outfitters and I adore it. I've been looking for the perfect slouchy bag for ages and this is just perfect. Living in London and commuting means I'm more one for practicality now, bags with no zips are a no-no (I'd like to keep my purse thank you!) but this has a big main zip then a couple of compartments too, ideal!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your breaks, I'm going to be spending mine doing a little sorting and some work before I'm back to work on Tuesday! (Alongside eating a bit too much chocolate, of course!)

Cropped jumper and printed trousers

Cropped jumper - Monki
Printed trousers - Asos
Loafers - River Island
Bag - Zara

As ever, long time no blog! Life just goes too quick sometimes and I'm still enjoying my weekends relaxing rather than worrying about trying to blog constantly, pretty sure I've got my priorities right. Right?!

Anyway, I've recently celebrated my 25th birthday (hey oldie!) and was thoroughly treated by my family and boyfriend. Lots of meals out including going to my favourites, The Chicken Shop and The Rivington Grill has meant that I'm working extra hard in the gym but it's worth it! Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going back home to Liverpool which I'm beyond excited for. How I love Easter holidays free from work!

Anyway, these photos were taken quite a few weekends ago when the weather was pretty lovely in London. Still cool enough for this cropped Monki jumper which I seemingly have been living in, it's so comfy! And hello more printed Asos trousers. As soon as I saw these I knew I had to get them, Asos do the most perfect trousers which always seem to fit like a glove, kudos for bringing these beauties into my wardrobe! I'm also wearing the Larsson and Jennings watch my boyfriend got my for Christmas, it is pretty much attached to my wrist it's that beautiful!

Black Tartan

Jumper - Topshop (old)
Jeans - Topshop Joni
Boots - Bertie
Scarf - Urban Outfitters
Leather Jacket - Topshop Boutique
Bag - c/o Marc B I haven't posted for a long time! Honestly I've quite enjoyed having a bit of a break, the pressures of working full time and only having one real day off has certainly taken its toll on me and I've literally been living for those weekend lie-ins.
Things have been good, I love my job and I'm really enjoying London right now too considering I'm prone to feeling homesick for Liverpool all too often.
I've also made a few changes to my lifestyle recently, with joining the gym being one and I'm actually quite enjoying getting fit and seeing my work paying off! It also helps break up my week and stops me from just sitting on the sofa working till too late.

Anyway, these photos were taken a couple of months ago when it was warm enough just to wear a leather jacket and jumper! A pretty simple outfit and a combination of jeans and boots that I often turn to when I can never be bothered searching the abyss that is my wardrobe.

Now, I don't wear glasses (although I always used to lie at my eye tests because I wanted some so badly!) but my boyfriend does. So when My Optique kindly got in touch asking if I wanted to review these I definitely had him in mind. He opted for a simple, classic style in tortoise shell which definitely makes them just that little bit cooler. They also put prescription lenses in for him which was really good and hassle free which now means he has two pairs of glasses to alternate for different occasions! He definitely recommends them if you're on the look out for a new pair of glasses (or even if you're not!)

I definitely will be posting more frequently as I've missed being away, although I've been checking up on my favourite blogs daily still! I've also got some reviews that I'll be posting soon too, exciting!
